Mrs. Charlotte Jayne of Candor dies
Mrs. Charlotte Bevier Jayne, 77, of Candor died this morning at Tioga General Hospital in Waverly after a long illness. Surviving are three sons, Harold F. Clark, Ithaca; James G. Clark, Auburn; Charles M. Allen, Spencer; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother Edwin A. Bevier of Canandaigua; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jayne was a member of Candor Congregational Church. She was a practical nurse. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Allen Funeral Home in Candor with the Rev. William Muir of the Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Those who wish may contribute in Mrs. Jayne's memory to the American Cancer Society.
