HANOVER Ronald Francis Bevans, 61, entered into God's eternal care on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at his home. Born on Wednesday, October 14, 1953, in Keyser, W.Va., Ronald was a son of the late Elwood F. and Louise T. Grove Bevans. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Sherry K. Ditzler Bevans, who died in 2006. Ronald was a 1972 graduate of Hanover High School and retired from SKF USA, Inc. in 2014 after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, and Penn State Nittany Lions. Survivors include two children, Scott Bevans and his wife, Tammy, and Bobbi Bevans and her husband, Andrew Bair, all of Hanover; four grandchildren, Jake Bevans, Gage Bair, Brendon Bevans, and Josh Bevans; one great-grandson, Landon Michael Bevans; and two brothers, Russel and Greg Bevans.
