CADDO MILLS — Helen Bethea, 98, of Caddo Mills, passed away in Kaufman on Nov. 18, 2011.

She was born to Andrew and Grady Smith Stephenson on Oct. 11, 1913, in Clinton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Caddo Mills for 62 years.

Mrs Bethea is survived by her two sons, Conard Dewayne Bethea and wife Earlene "Pepper" of Tyler, and Stephen Dexter Bethea of Kaufman; daughter, Helen DeLois Stolusky; six grandchildren, Kimberly Dee Melanson, Julie Carol Moore, Kendall Dewayne Bethea, Stephen Lane Stolusky, Dixie Roseanne Crossland and Andrew Redmond Bethea; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Conard Redmond Bethea; brothers, Horace, A.D., Frank and George; and sister, Clara De.

Visatation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lynch Funeral Home Caddo Mills. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Caddo Mills.
