According to Manitowoc County traffic officers, the accident occurred Nov. 14 late in the afternoon on County Trunk AAA, less than a mile west of Highway 32 in the Town of Schleswig. A car driven by Irwin J. Boll, R. 4 Chilton collided with the tractor and wagon being driven by Philip Pagel, R. 2, Kiel. Best was apparently thrown from the wagon and was taken to the hospital with a cerebral concussion. He had been hospitalized since the accident.
