Beverly B. Fulks (Best) Austin, 86, of Lakeland, Florida formerly of Logansport passed away June 3, 2013.

Born on March 31, 1927, near Monticello, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Opal (Raider) Fulks.

On April 18, 1943, she married George E. Best, and after George's death she married Joseph Austin in Bradenton, FL., on March 14, 1980.

Beverly worked in Logansport at RBM and Switches until moving to Florida. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, cross stitching, sewing, quilting, and working in her flower garden.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Austin, daughters; Ruth Ann (Louis) Stepp of Logansport, Jeanie Frye and special friend Bill Mitchell also of Logansport, sons; George E. (Cheryl) Best of Wappingers Falls, NY., and Robert L. (Cheryl) Best of Middleburg, FL. Beverly is also survived by Joe's children; Mike (Lois) Austin and Susie (Tom) Hatt. She had 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by son, Gary W. Best on February 20, 2013, and two sisters; Barbara Sprunger and Maurine Fulks.

Services will be held at a later date with burial at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
