Martha E. Ballinger, 79, of Punxsutawney R.D. 7 (Fairview), died Friday, October 22, 1999 at her residence.
Mrs. Ballinger was born September 15, 1920 in Deckers Point, the daughter of John D. and Mary E. (Mottern) Best.
She was married to Laverne Ballinger,
who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ballinger was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Punxsutawney.
Surviving relatives include one sister,
Sarah L. "Sally" Brunner of Punxsutawney R.D.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers:
Harry Best,
Harold Best and Eugene Best.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Pifer Funeral Home
of Punxsutawney.
The Rev. Bernard Shuey officiated.
Interment was at the Circle Hill Cemetery.
