Billy Ray Beshea, 69 of Cullen, Louisiana died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Springhill Medical Center in Springhill, Louisiana.

He was born December 17, 1937 in Springhill, Louisiana to the late Charlie Alfred and Bertie Lee (Stiles) Beshea. Billy Ray was a transmission mechanic and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Evelyn Beshea Martin, and brother-in-law, Billie Keeling.
Survivors are his daughters, Teresa Cox and husband Randy of Winnfield, Louisiana, Rebecca Rangel and husband John of Magnolia, Arkansas; brother, Cleave Beshea and wife Beth of Shiloh, Louisiana; sisters, Betty Eason of Shiloh, Louisiana, Martha Key and husband Tandy of Farmerville, Louisiana, Melba Keeling of Shreveport, Louisiana, Rita Velasquez and husband Gilbert of Sterlington, Louisiana; grandchildren, Phillip Worsham, Haley Worsham, Seth Cox, Daniel Cox, Dallas Rangel, and Zane Rangel; three great granddaughters; special brother-in-law, Red Martin; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Beshea officiating with interment following at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Springhill, Louisiana.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Worsham, Ricky Morris, Terry Morris, Scott Key, Cleave Beshea, Jr., and Joe Eason.
