Charles L. Beshara, 87 years, died after a lengthy illness.
Charles was born on November 25, 1918 in Fond du Lac, WI but had lived in Akron since early childhood. He graduated from Old South High School in January 1936 and from the University of Akron in 1940. He worked many years as a CPA and retired from the accounting firm of Heinick and Apple. He was a member of numerous professional organizations. He was a long time member of St. Joseph Milkite Catholic Church where he served for many years as financial secretary.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and of the Korean War. He continued in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Mabel Beshara and by his sister Adele Beshara. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ruby, his son, Thomas (Joanne) Beshara of Broadview Heights, OH, his son Wayne Beshara of Akron, his grandsons Matthew and Andrew Beshara of Broadview Heights and step grandson, Mike Saraullo of Columbus, OH, his sister, Mary Beshara and a host of relatives and friends.
A Funeral Liturgy held at St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church, W. Exchange St., Fr. Basil Samara officiating. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. The Family wishes donations be made to
St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church.
