JAMES ABRAM BESECKER, aged 61 years, died last evening at 7:20 o'clock at his home near the Polk Hill School, Waynesboro, Route 1. Death was from complications.
He had been in ill health for the last year and critically ill and confined to his bed for the last seven weeks. He was born near Mont Alto, the son of John and Sarah Rock Besecker, and had lived his entire life in the Mont Alto section. Mr. Besecker had been a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bendy Besecker; a stepdaughter, Mrs. May Bendy, at home; two grandchildren, four brothers, Horace, of Fayetteville; J. Wesley, of Waynesboro, Route 1; Emmanuel, of Waynesboro Route 1, and Eli, of Brunswick, N.J.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. J. W. Yohe. Interment win be made in Quincy cemetery.
The body may be viewed Friday evening at the funeral home from 7 until 9 o'clock.
