He was the beloved husband of Lucia Berwick for 36 years and loving father of Edward Oviedo, Yadira Oviedo, Kathy Berwick, Christy Berwick, Debbie Berwick and the late Marco Oviedo; grandfather of Summer, Alex, Angel, Aliyah and Kerie. A native of San Francisco, age 73 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Family and friends are invited to visit from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and attend the vigil at 4 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2005 at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae. The funeral will leave the chapel on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to St. Augustine's Church, 3700 Callan Blvd., South San Francisco, where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
