Nora Reda Berry Adcock of Madisonville, KY, passed away at the Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home on Saturday, July 8, 2006. She was fondly known to her friends as "Tootsie".

She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, George B. Adcock and three children, Reda Hanes of Mobile, AL, Dr. Ken Adcock and wife Michelle, of Maitland, FL and Berry Adcock and wife Kimberly of Madisonville, as well as three grandchildren, Alexander S. Hanes IV and Amy (Eric) Hanes Daniels of Mobile and Lindsey (Jarrett) Adcock Crowe of Newburgh, IN, and great granddaughter Emma Crowe as well as other relatives.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Madisonville for seventy-two years. She was also active in the Community Concert Series and an avid golfer, gardener and bridge player until her health failed.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Madisonville on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the service time on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the Mahr Cancer Center, 900 Hospital Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431.
