Mrs. Pertice Berry
Mrs. Pertice Berry, 59, of the Huguley community,died Monday in the Valley hospital following an operation. Services were held Tuesday from the Lanett Baptist church, the Rev. Carl Burke and the rev. J. d. Dollar officiating. Burial was in Lanett, conducted by Johnson and Blakely.
Born in Tallapoosa county, Mrs. Perry lived in Lanett for 25 years before moving to the Huguley community 8 years ago. She had been in ill health for the past year. Here membership was i n the Huguley Baptist church.
The survivors include her husband, J. Coleman Berry, and a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Keel, of Lanett; two sisters, Mrs. B. D. East, of Alexander city, and Mrs. Annie P. Hall, of Lanett; two brothers, J. W. Marable of Dadeville,and Ira Marable, of Montgomery.
