Cynthia Carol Barrett died Monday, December 21, 1992 at a hospital in St. Louis. She was 85. She was born July 13, 1907 near Marble Hill. She is the daughter of the late John H. and Ida (Kirkpatrick) Berry.
She first married James 'Theodore' Nanney 21/Dec/1928 at Bollinger Co., MO. He preceded her in death.
She married Chester A. Barrett in 1933. He died October 14, 1982.
Survivors include four sons, Ted Nanney of St. Louis, MO; Jerry Barrett of St. Charles, MO; Russell Barrett of St. Charles, MO; Robert Barrett of Florissant, MO; two daughters, Carolyn Panosh of Florissant, MO; Mary Wade of Florissant, MO; two sisters, Mildred Peterman of St. Charles, MO; Mae Caldwell Baker of Marble Hill, MO; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Liley Funeral Chapel on Thursday. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Scopus.
