Earl Arthur Berry, Sr., 96 years, 11 months, died on April 2, 2007 in Oklahoma City. He was the personnel manager of Kerr-McGee Corporation for 35 years. Born on May 2, 1910 in Midlothian, Oklahoma, Berry was one of two surviving graduates of Chandler High School, class of 1929. He earned his B.S. from the University of Oklahoma in 1936.

Berry was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, Knights of Columbus, and President of Kerr-McGee Retirement Club and St. Vincent De Paul Society, both for 20 years. Berry was also a member of Our Lady's Cathedral for 60 yrs, and head of the Cathedral Line Dancing Group for many years. He was honored with the Outstanding Service Award for Our Lady's Cathedral in 1992.

Berry is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and William Wesley Berry; brothers, Leonard and Jesse Berry; and sisters, Olive Berry Sanderson, Ruth Berry Goode, and Betsy Berry.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Edna Fundis Berry; his son, Earl Arthur Berry, Jr.; and daughter, Mary Ellen Berry Malone; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; nieces, Billie Ann Payne, Shirley Nichols and husband Glenn, Gloria and Phyllis Ann Goode; and nephew Jim Goode.

The funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Our Lady's Cathedral. Interment will follow in Wanette, OK.
