GATESV1LLE, March 16—SPL
Pleasant W. Berry, a city worker, succumbed to a brief illness Friday afternoon at the Coryell Memorial Hospital. He was 52, and was a lifelong resident of Gatesville.
The funeral services, held Saturday afternoon at Scott's Funeral Home, were conducted by Wallace Gooch.
Interment was in Restland Cemetery.
Mr. Berry, a member of the Church of Christ, was married to Miss Ruby Bealy Aug. 5, 1928, and she survives him.
He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Alice Brown of Gatesville Mrs. Jim Rose of Mound, Mrs. Bill Tomlinson of New Orleans, La., and Mrs. Walker Summers of Gatesville.
