Robert E. Berry, 74, 881 W. North, Olney, died at 12:04 p.m. Sunday in Richland Memorial Hospital. Services will be in Summers Funeral Home with Father Gary Behrman and Rev. Herman Gumbel presiding. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Berry was born Sept. 21, 1908, in Olney, the son of Joseph and Bessie (Elwood) Berry.

He married Helen Stacey March 30, 1935 in Olney and she survives.

He was owner and operator with his wife of Berry Greenhouse in Olney.

He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and was affiliated with Blain Christian Church. He was a member of Olney Masonic Lodge 140; an honorary member of Olney Volunteer Fire Dept.; and was a retired radio operator for the Police Dept.

Other survivors include two brothers, Lyman, Olney; Homer, Panama Park, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Fisher, Gaylord, Mich.; and Mrs. Ginny Clark, Richmond, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Carolyn; a brother, Theodore; and three sisters, Mrs. T.J. Collins, Mrs. Robert Evans, and Mrs. Grace Berry.
