Lucille Berrett, age 78, died Dec. 22, 2001 in West Valley City.
She was born on January 1, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ada Bringhurst and Robert W. Orr. Married Floyd Berrett Nov. 22, 1943, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Lucille was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving mostly with the youth and women. She also was active in the community service, worked in the Jordan River Temple of the LDS Church and spent the remainder of her time with her grandchildren. Her husband, Floyd Berrett, 78, preceded Lucille in death on May 9, 1986.
Survived by her five children, Robert (Maryanne) Berrett, Salt Lake City; Bruce (Judy) Berrett and Kathleen (Dennis) Bares, Portland; Scott (Marie) Berrett; and Carol (Mike) Geremski, Los Angeles; Lucille had 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and sisters, Jean Quate; and Mary Rhea.
Funeral services will be held at Granger 10th Ward, 3274 Hillsdale Dr., Murray at 1 p.m., Friday Dec. 28, 2001. Viewing will be held one and a half hours prior to funeral services. Interment Valley View Memorial Park, West Valley City immediately following the funeral services.
