BIDDEFORD - Alice M Boucher, 90, formerly of Wentworth Street, died Monday at St Andre's Health Care Facility. She was born in Saco on January 31, 1912, a daughter of Henri and Marie Pilotte Bernier, and was educated in schools there. During World War II, she was employed by the South Portland Shipyard. She was a long time employee of Bruce Shoe in Biddeford until it closed in 1974, and she then worked for two years at shoe shops in Sanford and Dover, NH, retiring in 1976. Mrs Boucher was a member of St Joseph's Church. She enjoyed flowers and shopping. She is survived by a brother, Paul Bernier of Biddeford; five nieces and one nephew.
