Donald L. Bergman, of Bennington, passed away April 8, 2014 in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Lee, and his brother, Byron.
Donald Bergman is survived by son Brian (Mayce) Bergman of Omaha, daughters: Marilee (Dan) Braesch of Herman, NE, Sandra (Tony) Tiefenthaler of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren: Bridget (Kevin) Weber, Balin (Kaitlin) Bergman, Courtney (Jacob) Sukalski, Michaela (Jared) Mann, Conner Tiefenthaler, and Natalie Tiefenthaler, 2 great-grandchildren: Rylee Bergman and Peyton Weber, brothers: Ralph Bergman, Bernie (Lynn) Bergman, and Bruce (Sharon) Bergman, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, April 11th, 2014, 1-8 pm at Hadan-Golden-Reichmuth Mortuary, 15303 S. 2nd St.,Bennington, NE. Funeral service 10 AM Saturday, St. John's Lutheran Church,322 N. Molly St. Bennington, with Rev. Andreas Stein officiating. Interment German Cemetery. Memorials to the Bennington Public Schools Foundation.

Note: The German Cemetery that has many Bergmans buried is actually in Washington County, Nebraska though it has a mailing address of Bennington, Nebraska, which is in Douglas County. There is a small German cemetery near Bennington better known as Flower Hill.
