Ruby married Darrel Benson on July 11, 1959. She worked as a dental assistant for four years. She was a stay at home mom for three children until she started working at the insurance office with Darrel in 1973. She had a bad fall, two months after retiring in 1999. Then in the fall of 2002 she was written in as city clerk/treasure of City of Forada. She served this position for twelve years. Ruby was a very fun loving wife, mom and grandma that enjoyed spending time with her family and many good friends. She will be greatly missed. She was often found watching her grand kids at sporting events, visiting with friends and spending time at Maple Lake. Ruby enjoyed scrap booking, playing cards, gardening flowers, baking and cooking lots of foods. Ruby loved holidays, Christmas being her favorite! She always had lots of food and delightful desserts.
