Died - Mr. Alfred Bergeron, aged 50 years and 3 months, died at his residence at Waterproof Plantation on Bayou Black, Thursday night September 13th, 1923, after an illness of short duration.

The deceased was a successful farmer and was well known thru-out the parish. His death is deplored by scores of friends in Houma.

The burial took place in the St. Francis de sales Cemetery Saturday morning,following funeral services in the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Houma.
