Mrs. Bertha (Matte) Bergeron Mrs. Bertha Bergeron, age 74, of Eunice, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
She is survived by her one daughter, Lisa Demerest & her husband Ricky of Eunice; four sons, Robert Glenn Bergeron & his wife Melinda of Lake Charles, Billy Bergeron & his wife Gloria of Lake Charles, Terry Bergeron & his wife Cindy of Lake Charles, Tony Bergeron of Eunice; one sister, Lillian Courville of Lake Charles; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Theus Matte & Attie Dozart; husband, Joseph H. Bergeron; sister, Bernice Henry and brothers, Otis, Albert and Roger Matte.
Arrangements are being handled by Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 South Sixth Street, Eunice, where the family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006 with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2006. Interment will be at St. Paul Mausoleum in Eunice.
