Death of Mrs. Piper Occurs At Daughter's Home
Mrs. Amelia Piper, 71, wife of Amenzo Piper, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Hoeft, ....vision avenue, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Piper was a lifelong resident of this city.
She was born here on June 17, 1859, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ecke. She was born at 607 Center Avenue, in which home she lived all her life with the exception of the short time she made her home with her daughter. She had a kind disposition and was devoted to her family circle.
Those who survive Mrs. Piper are her husband; her only daughter Mrs. Hoeft, two grandchildren, Mrs. Theodore W. Kreuter and Franklin Muehlenberg, one great grandson, Master James Kreuter, all of this city, and one brother Otto Ecke of Appleton.
The funeral will be held at ... o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Robert H. Kroos Funeral Home. Reverend Karl Schulz of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate and interment will be made in Wildwood Cemetery.
