Harriet Ammazzalorso at the age of 81 died June 7, 2010 at her home in Northfield, NJ.

She was born March 26, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pa. to William and Dorothy Berger, she worked at the Navy Shipyard in the cost accounting department. She married her husband, John Ammazzalorso, on April 30, 1954. They moved to New Jersey. After earning an accounting degree, she was employed by H&R Block in Atlantic City. She eventually opened her own tax preparation business, working until April 2010. She enjoyed knitting, bookkeeping, playing online computer games and spending time with family.

She was predeceased by her husband, John; a daughter, Marlene Hyde; sister, Ruth Weinberg; and brother, Leonard Berger.

Survivors include a daughter, a son, sister, seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; step-children, and their children; and extended family.

Visitation was June 10, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, followed by a service at 3 p.m, with burial June 11, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park.
