Florence A. Long, 95, formerly of Center Valley, died February 6, 2009 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of the late John C. Long. Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hannah (Cardwell) Berger. She was a member of St. Matthews E.C. Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Son, George W. Long and his wife Elizabeth of Zionsville; daughter, Frances L. wife of Gunther Heussman of Emmaus; three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, John Henry Long. Services: Funeral Services 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 1-1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Pauls Blue Church Cemetery, Coopersburg.
