Sigwart N. Berg, 76, of Rt. 1, Manitwooc, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty. The Rev. C.R. Rosenow will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Berg was born Jan. 18, 1899, in the Town of Manitowoc, son of the late Knut and Ingeborg Alfstad Berg. He attended Cedar Grove School and married Emma Schultz June 19, 1926, at Liberty. He was retired from Hamann Construction Co. of Manitowoc. He was a member of Manitowoc Barbershoppers, Valder's Senior Citizens and Board of Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, after 4 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday and at the church from noon until the time of service.
