BERTHA BERG IS
DEATH VICTIM
Mrs. Bertha Berg, age 78 years, a resident of Baileytown, Porter county, for the last thirty years, died Monday noon in the Clinic hopsital, Michigan City, following a three months' illness of intestinal trouble.
Mrs. Berg was born on Sept. 8, 1858, in Sweden, and came to the Baileytown vicinity thirty years ago.
Her husband, August Berg, preceded her in death six year ago, and a daughter , Mrs. John Samuelson, died three years ago.
Surviving are one son, Edward Berg, of LaPorte; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Berg waw a member of the Augsburg Lutheran church, an the Ladies' Aid of the church.
Memorial services have not been arranged, but Rev. Carl V. Nelson will officiate and burial in Burstrom cemetery.
