Colette M. (Berdan) Bednarczyk, Age 63 of Edina, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with PSP. She was an inspiration to all, by accepting this devastating disorder with dignity, humor and courage. Many lives were changed during her journey. A devoted loving mother; an incredible wife of 35 years; best friend; partner; confidant and soul mate. Survived by husband, Bill "Willie"; children, Ann and Paul (Laura); siblings, Mark and Fred (Sherrill) Berdan, Barbara (Bill) Rasmussen and Jane (Owen) Ausen. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Genie Berdan. Graduate, Austin Pacelli HS, MN School of Business. Legal Secretary of Year 1976. Office Manager for major Mpls. law firms. Her infectious smile, quick wit, inner strength, warm hugs, gourmet cooking and hostess extraordinaire of GREAT PARTIES will be missed by all who knew her. We will always love you and have your spirit in our heart. Her suffering has ended. Rest in peace. Visitation 5-8 PM Monday August 30th with 7:30 PM Prayer Service at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, West 50th St. and Vernon Ave at Hwy 100, Edina. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Tuesday August 31st with visitation beginning at 10 AM at The Church of St. Patrick, Valley View at Gleason Rd, Edina. Following Mass a brunch will be served.
