"Mrs. P. K. Rude, Jr."
Funeral services for Mrs. P. K. Rude, Jr., will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. from the Church of Christ in Rosenberg. Burial will be in the W.O.W. Cemetery in Rosenberg.
Mrs. Rude died Friday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was 58 years old.
Mrs. Rude was a life long resident of Fort Bend County. She was the State Chaplain of the Firemens Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Rosenberg Firemens Ladies Auxiliary.
She was also a member of the Home Demonstration Club, Past Oracle of the Royal Neighbors of America Camp #7826, Past Noble Grand and Past District Deputy of the Rebekah Lodge #235 and a member of the V.F.W. Post #3903 Auxiliary.
Mrs. Rude is survived by her husband, P. K. Rude of Rosenberg; son, Larry Rude of Rosenberg; mother, Mrs. G. C. Benton of Rosenberg; three sisters, Mrs. Dolcy Grant and Mrs. Katherine Semon, both of Rosenberg and Mrs. Juanita Drake of Eagle Lake; three brothers, Chester C. Benton of Needville, Arthur L. Benton of Beasley and Ralph W. Benton of Rosenberg.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Rude, Bob Drake Sr., Jim DeLawder, Ben Chupik, C. H. Boring Jr. and James McRae. Honorary pallbearers were members of the organizations of which she was a member.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Garmany & Co., Funeral Directors. * * *
