GUILDERLAND Beryl Mary Bent, 87, a former Albany native and longtime resident, died October 4, 2015, at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home in Guilderland. She was born on February 3, 1928 in Albany, a daughter of the late Frederick and Lucy Garson. Beryl was a homemaker and a stay at home mom for her children. Wife of the late Arthur E. Bent and was the beloved mother of two daughters whom survive her, Stephanie Ann (Michael) Hedrick and Kimberly (Scott) Elizabeth Hollis. She is also survived by her brother, Colby Garson and two grandchildren, Michael Hedrick and Nicole Kivett. She was predeceased by her sister, June Jones. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to St Peter's Hospital and the Guilderland Center Nursing Home for their care of Beryl. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations may be made in Beryl's memory to the Guilderland Center Nursing Home, Guilderland Center.
