She was born June 20, 1921, in Vilonia.
She was an assembly trainee in the airline industry in Phoenix as well as a beautician and an automotive munitions assembly in Detroit during WWII.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Bennett and Flora Davis Bennett; her first husband, Jack Cooksey; her second husband, James Harold Ball; sister, Rebecca Lou Frederick; and her son, Ralph Cooksey.
She is survived by her grandson, Jeffrey Cooksey and wife Nikhila of Oakland, California; great-grandchild, Sabina Cooksey; sister, Margaret Gray and husband Ralph of Fresno; and by many beloved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Deacon Jerry Harrison officiating.
