Funeral for Lola B. Allison, 71, of West Indiana 46 will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike, with the Rev. Patrick Tyndall officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Allison died Monday evening at Manatee General Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.
She retired from Cummins Engine Co., was a member of Sandy Hook United Methodist Church and was an avid gardener.
Mrs. Allison was born in Rayville, La., Aug. 24, 1926, the daughter of Nelson and Hattie Hart Bennett. She married Kenneth L. Allison Nov. 8, 1947. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Kenneth Allison Jr. of Columbus; daughters, Betha Bailey and Mary Bennett, both of Columbus, and Gayle Tyndall of Simpsonville, S.C.; brothers, Felix and Daniel Bennett, both of Start, La.; sisters, Irma Parker and Ann Heard, both of Start; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
