Evanda Alla Bennett Anderson, 62, passed away on July 14, 2015 at Altamaha Healthcare under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.

A long time resident of Dayton, Ohio, Evanda was born on March 27, 1953 in Jesup to the late Brownen Moody and Wilma Harris Bennett. She was a member of the Wayne County Graduating Class of 1971 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design from Sinclair College. Evanda was an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America for over twenty years and loved arts and crafts of all kinds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jesup where she attended the Dorcas Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her son, Brownen Bennett Anderson and wife, Heather of Winnemucca, Nevada and three step grandchildren, Miranda, Raina and Corinne Menghini. A host of Cousins and extended family members and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home with Dr. Michael VonMoss and Reverend James Sapp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family members.
