Shirley A. Bennett, 75 of Sullivan, passed away at 8:20PM Friday March 18,2011 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She was born in Sullivan Co.,Indiana May 12, 1935, the daughter of Orval Otis Garrard and Bessie Wolfe Garrard.
Shirley was a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, Jack Lee Bennett on October 19,2010, and one sister, Wilma Exner.
Survivors include tow sons, Michael Lee Bennett (Nola) of Sullivan, Gregory Alan Bennett (Brenda), of Bruniswick, Ga., three sisters, Jaunita Hoesman of Sullivan, Doris Stanley of Sullivan, and Mary Gadberry of Sullivan, four grandchildren, Natalie (Travis) McKinney, Emily (Chad) Cutliff, David Bennett, and Kristan Williams, one great granddaughter, Allyson McKinney.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, and before services Wednesday.
