Erva L. Bennett, 90, former resident of Blue Ridge Terrace,
died Monday afternoon at the Heritage House Convalescent
Center. Mrs. Bennetthad been a resident at Heritage House for two years and was a lifelong resident of Shelby County.
Born Dec. 3, 1898, in Hendricks Township, her parents were John D. and Alma(Snyder)Newcomb. Preceding Mrs. Bennett in death was her husband, Harry Bennett, who died in 1947. They married in 1927. She had been a homemaker. A member of the Marietta United Methodist Church, she was involved with the United Methodist Women. Surviving are a son, Kermit Money, Shelbville; a daughter, Mrs. Larry(Darlene)Redmon, Greenfield; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren and three step-greatgrandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Carmony-Ewing
Harrison St. The Rev. Michael Layne willofficiate. Burial
will be in the Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday
from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
