Victoria—Jesse Wilbur Bennett, 86 passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. He was born on December 20, 1928 in Halls Summit, Kansas to the late Ray and Amy Newland Bennett. J.W. served our country proudly in the U S Army during the Korean War. He was a retired banker and farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joan Bennett; daughters, Marlis Warner and Karen Middleton; sister, Barbara Devitt; brother-in-law, Al Finch; granddaughter, Mellissa Middleton; great-grandson, Astin Crowdy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Ronald L. Bennett.
Burial will be held at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, 9974 IH37 Access Road.
