DOROTHY N. HILLSMAN "Momma" Gary, Indiana formerly of South Fulton, Tennessee Dorothy N. Hillsman, affectionately known as "Momma", age 75 years and a Gary, Indiana resident for 59 years, formerly of South Fulton, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Dorothy retired from the Gary Community School Corporation. She was a member of Embassies of Christ Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvina and Roman Bennett, Sr., husband, Archie Lee Hillsman; three children, James "Samson" Linda and Anthony Hillsman; sister, Delia Bennett; and her brother, Roman Bennett, Jr.; grandson, Jamel Patton; and son-in-law, Torrence Patillo. She is survived by two devoted daughters, Corleatha (Clarence) Moore and Yoleatha Patillo, both of Gary, Indiana; her nine loving grandchildren, Michael Mosley, Demond (Marion) Ligon, Sr., Savona (Vidal) McAlister, Shauntrece Clark, Terrance Clark; a very special granddaughter, Tieniesha Brinker, Jade Pickett, Anthony Hillsman and Kailyn Patillo; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Embassies of Christ Kingdom Ministries, 4285 Cleveland Street, Gary, Indiana with Cedric and Joyce Oliver officiating. Burial at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobart, Indiana.
