Andrew Clinton Bennett Jr., 90, of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Athens Regional Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Darryl Womack will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home.

Mr. Bennett was born on March 18, 1924 in Centerville, GA to the late Andrew Clinton Bennett Sr., and Ruby Moore Bennett. He was retired from General Motors where he worked as a lift driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Larry Bennett and Morris Bennett and sisters, Sandra Bennett and Mary Bennett.
