Mrs. Bennett was employed for a number of years at the Deaconness Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born near Sligo February 22,1902, a daughter of Steel and Nellie Myers Johnson.
She had lived In Parma for the past 25 years.
She and George R. Bennett were married October 29,1920.
Surviving along with her husband are two sons, Joseph E. Bennett of Parma and Karl F. Bennett of Carlton, Ind.; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Larimer and Mrs. Evelyn Wensel of Sligo, Mrs. Frances Getson of Nova Scotia, Canada, Mrs. Mary Wood of Cranberry and Mrs. Violet Kiehl of Mayport; two brothers, James Johnson of Sligo and Eugene Johnson of Huey, and seven grandchildren.
A son, Jack, is deceased; also deceased are four sisters, Mabel, Grace, Anna Myrtle, and Helen, and three brothers, Scott, Ray and Paul.
Viewing and funeral services at the Cleo A. Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo are private, open to members of the immediate family only. Following funeral services at 2 pm Sunday, interment will be in the Sligo Cemetery.
