Mrs. Etta Chalmers Adams, 89, of 825 N. Madison, a longtime Stockton resident, died early today in a local hospital. She was the widow of the late Henry E. Adams, manager of the former Stockton Gas and Electric Co., which was founded by his father. Mrs. Adams had resided here for about 75 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George Ditz of Stockton, and 2 sons, Henry E. Adams of Wasco and Stewart C. Adams of Bijou. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
