William E. Benner of Dysart RD, a former resident of Juniata, died at 4:10 a.m. today in the Altoona Hospital. He was born at Union Furnace on Oct. 17, 1903, a son of Thomas and Christine (Patton) Benner, and married Nora Wilt.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Clara Carns of Dysart RD; one son, Richard of Newport RD. a sister, Mrs. Catherine Harp of Lewistown RD and nine grandchildren.
He was employed as a conductor on the Allegheny Division of the PRR and was a member of the Juniata VFW.
Friends wil be received at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Hohme, Juniata, after 3 p.m. tomorrow.
