Msgt Alfred F. Benko, Ret., aged 83 of Lorton, VA passed Monday, February 25, 2013. Son of the late George and Mary Benko. Beloved husband of Emma L. Benko. Loving father of Alfred G. Benko, Michael C. Benko, George W. Benko (Denise), John F. Benko (Tamara), and Jeffrey A. Benko. Also the loving grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A mass will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 13752 Mary's Way, Woodbridge, VA 22191. Burial will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd., (Route 619) Triangle, VA 22172. The family will receive guests for a bereavement luncheon and celebration of his life at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at 1:30 pm following the burial.
