Darlene A. Benicewicz, 50, wife of Edward "Rob" Benicewicz, died at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born to Ilene (Parsons) Yerks of Patterson, NY, and the late Clarence Yerks. She moved to Danbury as a child and has lived in Danbury and New Fairfield since and was a graduate of Danbury High School, 1972. Darlene had worked in food service at the Broadview Junior High School. She was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church.

In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by two daughters: Lindsay Benicewicz and Ashley Benicewicz, both of Danbury; three sisters: Marlene Buturla and Charlene Bartko, both of Danbury and Jolene Bertrum of New Fairfield and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Edward The Confessor Church, New Fairfield.
