ALFRED W. BENHAM, 76, Venice, Fla., formerly of Indianapolis, died Apr 12. He had owned Capitol Lightning Protection, retiring in 1986. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Benham was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 481 and was a 50-year member of Brookside Masonic Lodge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of South West Floridia. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. May 7 in Our Lady of Miraculous Medals Chapel at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers. Calling: none. Survivors: wife Marilyn Cassidy Benham; children Steve, Mark, Janet Benham, Jill Benham Huffman; stepchildren Jeff, Mark, John Portwood, Ann Mattingly; sister Margie Russell; four grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren. International Cremation Society is handling arrangements.
