*Martha L. Walburn, 77, formerly of Grampian and Curwensville and most recently of Glenwood Convalescent Home, Glen Campbell, PA. died Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the home.
Born March 24, 1928 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Joseph and Fannie (Mecca) Benedek, Sr.
She was a homemaker and was affiliated with The Baptist faith, she was a former member of the Curwensville VFW Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by three children, David L. Walburn and his wife Cindy of Ocala, FL, Richard A. Walburn of Clearfield and Mary Jane Mahlon and her husband Harry of Grampian, PA, three grandchildren Amy Godin of Allport, PA, Pamela Striker of Warren, PA and Christina Barnett of Punxsutawney, PA and six great grandchildren.

having been preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Youlon Stiner, Margaret "Jimmie" Welch, Erma Pye, and Olga Rainone and a brother Joseph Benedek, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield, with Pastor David A. Baker officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Joseph and Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, 1 South Front St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
