Our earnest and heartfelt sympathies are tendered to our friends Mr. and Mrs. N.P. Bendon of Glendive, Dak., in the loss by death from that dreadful disease, diphtheria, of two of their beloved children, as noted in another column. The bereaved parents were both born and raised in Cambria county, Mr. B being a brother of Mrs. Will. Connell, of this place, and their many friends here and elsewhere will greatly regret to learn of the double bereavement which has just come upon them.
