Bender.- Ray Christian, son of William and Mabel (Baechler) Bender, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., June 27, 1944; died at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., June 17, 1989; aged 44. Surviving are 2 brothers (Earl and Verle) and one sister (Reta Wagler). He was preceded in death by one brother (Glenn). He was a member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church, where memorial services were held on June 20, in charge of Vernon Zehr, Wilmer Wagler and Marietta Wagler; interment in 19th Line East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery.
