VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Davis Ben, 66, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church here with burial in the church cemetery in Tate Cove.
The Rev. Eradly Ben will conduct the services.
Mr. Ben, a resident of Ville Platte, died Monday, September 13, 1999, in Ville Platte Medical Center.
Survivors include:his wife, Ella Mae Ben of Ville Platte a daughter, Theresa Frank of Ville Platte; two sons, Jessie Ben of Carencro and David Ben of Lafayette; a brother, Wallace Ben of New Orleans and Wardie Ben of Ville Platte; three sisters, Lillian Durgin, Lydia Durgin and Annie Lafleur, all of Ville Platte; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A wake will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday in Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte, which is in charge of arrangements.
