Mr. Henry H. Belue, age 87 of 215 Third Street, Ottaray Community, Union, widower of Elizabeth "Lib" Blakley Belue, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Regional Hospice House.

Mr. Belue was born in Greenville, SC October 21, 1924, a son of the late R.O. Belue and Annie Barrow Belue. He was a graduate of Union High School, Clemson College and had attended Pittsburg University. Mr. Belue retired from AT&T after fifty years of service and was employed with Union Phone Mart. He was a Veteran of the US Army Air Corp having served in World War II. A Flying Tiger, he served as a tail-gunner on B-25's flying missions over North Africa, Burma, India, Japan, China and Indo China. During the Korean Conflict, Mr. Belue was stationed in Shreveport, LA. He as a Mason, a lifetime member of the Union Elks Club and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Ronnie Belue of the home; a brother, Harvey Belue and wife of Union; nieces; nephews and special friends, Roger Wade and the Union Phone Mart family all of Union Mr. Belue was predeceased by a brother, Richard Belue.

Graveside services were Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb with Military Honors.
