Pampa, TX newspaper article. Freda worked in a bank in Pampa, TX and in 1990"s the Bank did a huge write up on her, published in the Amarillo Globe New Paper about her years of service and responsibilities in her banking Career. The articlecame out just before her retirement 23 Jan 2008. I telephoned Cousin Freda (Bellows) LeMond at her home in Pampa. We had a nice and fun conversations about times long ago. Freda said, "I am 88 years old." She talked about being in Casper, WY when her sister Gwynn was sick and then passed away. Gwynn was buried in Casper, WY. Freda talked about how much she had missed her siser. There was another women with Freda. I did not ask if she worked for Freda, helping to care for her. But feel this is likely because Freda's memory was not the way she once was. However, found her to be very sweet as always and I think she thought she was talking to my mother. Freda would hesitate as she tried to remember things. I could tell she was getting tired. I told her I would call again soon and when I got to Pampa to visit aunt Mary I would call and come and see her too. I had planned on taking some photo's of her grandparents and g-grandparents to her, but she passed away before I got there for a visit.
